GREAT NEWS. 
​WE'VE WON AN AWARD!!

That's right!  Africa Fest has won its first regional award!  The Midlands Enterprise Awards 2025 hosted by SME News announced to us on 3rd of June 2025 that we had won

Best African Culture Event 2025 

We'd like to thank all of you who nominated us and who have supported our growth since we began in 2023.  We look forward to serving you in the years to come, as Leicester's first charitable festival for the African heritage community.

Africa Fest 2024 is scheduled to take place on 8th June 2024

between 12.00pm to 5.00pm on Humberstone Gate West,

​Leicester, LE1 1WA (outside Primark and Marks & Spencers).

Africa Fest 2025 is scheduled to take place on 19th July 2025

between 12.00pm to 5.00pm on Humberstone Gate West,

​Leicester, LE1 1WA (outside Primark).

This years festival was dedicated to the memory of two year old Xielo Maruziva who sadly died on 18th February 2024 after accidentally falling into the River Soar from Packhorse bridge in Aylestone, Leicester.  May the peace & blessings of The Creator be with you always Xielo.

The award winning Africa Fest - bringing you the very best in African heritage culture, entertainment and lifestyle - will be co-hosted with the 20th anniversary of the Leicester Peace & Love Festival on the13th of June 2026 between 12.00pm to 6.00pm at the Leicester Clock Tower, Leicester, LE1 5YA.
